From the Debris of a Citadel -2

Oh! nature , nature , nature !
O,the diabolic fortification!
I see my hurt hands and heart .

O,my brother ,
Shut out forgood from your heart ?
Then let them occupy it who possess it .

Let's meet somewhere else ,brother ,
To ponder at the folly of my hurt heart.

Nature, oh nature !
Don't be exiled .

From the Debris of a Citadel-1

One day in agony , I broke a heart
Hoping that it belonged to me
A heart,my brother's heart !
And whenever such a heart breaks
My eyes bleed
In sympathy
The inward tears
Of a simple heart
Absolutely devoid of
A crocodile 's craft .
The inward spiritual tears
Red with love, pain and anger .

In This Silence

In this silence
We would gently but fully unlid our hearts ;
Ask me not to be polite nor hide your own from yourself
There should be naturally a lot of stinking hatred in store !
We are brothers and nothing more.
So, we cannot be good neighbours
Though next to impossible
But we could have been best partners
If the green eyed monster would have left our hatred natural,
If the hatred would not have bred pity to pollute the natural one coming through love .
Kindly be hot in hatred
Our natural scape,
Lest our silence shapes us into enemies ,cold and frozen.

I too hold cinders,but I feel the brunt .

My love for nature fails to take me to mountaineering but it makes me see her in all intrigues of life . Midst sorests of troubles it suddenly lets loose some hidden springs of joy. I hope it will lead me some day to a trance . But, my heart grieves to see that the greed for wealth among people has led to the devastation of the human relationships . This is the pajnful aspect which has been always there with humanity but with the token currency and the age of speculations , the private ownership of wealth has taken several new dimensions as the world becomes more and more monetary, making an individual's prestige directly proportional to the wealth owned by the person . This system makes us suffer too much unnecessarily . In order to keep ourselves warm we all are holding cinders . But , how many of us think that way ? How many of us want to improve this system or change it altogether ?How many of us want to learn from nature ? I see at the sublime nature and grieve at what man has made of man .

To The Omnipotent

O Almighty,
Let my taste be divine .
Let me find pleasure in actions
That have been praised or are likely to be praised by
Sages and your servants;
Actions that please you .
If my heart is troubled by doubts,
Give me strength to act on the truth alone .

Of Light and Darkness-2

Doubts and faiths both have their domains in darkness . Suppose you are in dire need of money . Your neighbour has money but does not lend it to you . Your brother brings you money by stealing it from from your neighbour's house . Long afterwards you have money and someone steals your money . You don't know who has stolen your money . There is ignorance and so there is doubt . You may doubt your brother because you have known that he is a thief . You may doubt your neighbour because he would have planned a revenge . Long afterwards you are again in dire need of money . Your brother has always helped you under such circumstances . You have faith in your brother . However , you don't know what he will do . Faiths and doubts are of the similar substance . They are based on some proofs .Positive doubts are faiths ,negative faiths are doubts . Strong faiths need strong proofs .Vivekananda would believe the words of one who had seen God and Chanakya said that the power that filled the udder of a cow before the birth of its calf was God . Such faiths cannot be forsaken easily because the are based on great proofs .

Of Light and Darkness 1

There is no darkness but ignorance . This has been uttered by a Shakespearean character . This is what I mean by darkness . Then , by light ,I mean knowledge . All have their limits of knowledge at a particular time and in a particular condition . It varies from time to time but is never without limits . Everyone's knowledge is like a boat that rests on the vast ocean of ignorance . But, knowledge comes out from the lap of ignorance . Nature is all knowing and she can impart some knowledge if properly adored . Poets are inspired and in that fit of inspiration bring out some deep knowledge from nature . This is the more dependable poetic truth , as Aristotle called it . So, the vedic sages recognised the authorship of some power other than themselves . This can be a positive hypothesis . Wordsworth accepted nature as his friend , philosopher and guide . And , a modern Indian poet , Leeladhar Jagoodi , almost unknowingly ,in a fit of inspiration wrote, 'Mere andhere ke sahare tik kar chalo ,main tumhare mamooli mathe par kavita nahin hath rakhoonga ' from 'Is Yatra Mein ' .
